At Wates we are looking for an Electrical Installation Apprentice to join our south responsive maintenance team in Lambeth. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team to maintain 500,000 social housing homes nationwide.

Tasks include: 

Shadowing our electricians on site and learning about our systems.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical services including lighting, sockets, fire alarms, emergency lighting and heating controls)

Reading and understanding building and engineering drawings

Selecting (within limits) materials and equipment

Inspecting and testing electrical installations

Identifying and rectifying faults on a range of circuits and equipment

Writing reports
