1. Groundworker – Breaking Piles

Neilcott Construction, via Lencon Construction Ltd, is seeking motivated and reliable groundworkers to join our team on a London-based construction project. The successful candidates will support the delivery of pile-breaking and associated groundwork activities while maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

• Carry out pile-breaking duties safely and efficiently under the direction of site management.
• Assist with the removal of arisings, segregation of materials and general site clearance.
• Follow site health and safety procedures, RAMS and toolbox talks at all times.
• Work collaboratively with site management, operatives and subcontractors.
• Maintain a tidy, organised and safe work area.
• Report any safety concerns, defects or site issues promptly.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, sufficient to follow site instructions, safety procedures and work collaboratively with the site team.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant groundwork, demolition or construction experience.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in a busy London construction environment.

• Previous pile-breaking, demolition or structural alteration experience.
• CPCS or NPORS certification for relevant plant or attachments.
• Experience working on residential, commercial or education-sector projects in London.
• Knowledge of dust suppression, noise control and waste segregation.
• Manual handling and working-at-height awareness training.
