Duties

The role will involve:
  • Carrying out digging works across the project
  • Preparing and levelling sub-bases for concrete works
  • Operating small plant and tools safely
  • Working around sheet piling
  • Breaking down piles
  • Assisting with general groundwork duties as required
  • Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential criteria

To be considered, you will need:
  • Minimum Blue CSCS card
  • NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or a relevant construction qualification
  • Previous experience working as a Groundworker on civils or RC frame projects
  • Experience with digging, sub-base preparation and levelling
  • Experience working around sheet piling and breaking down piles
  • Ability to operate small plant and tools safely
  • Ability to provide 2 recent working references

Required qualifications

  • Minimum Blue CSCS card
  • NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks or a relevant construction qualification
