Our company has opportunities for enthusiastic individuals to become part of our growing team at JD Geerings Electrical. As part of the JD Geerings Electrical team, you will receive ongoing training, support and development. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base. Opportunities in Domestic and Residential Electrical works.

• The ability to read and install to schematics, wiring schedules and setting out drawings.
• Containment installation consisting of tray, trunking, basket and ladder rack systems.
• Metal and plastic conduit installations.
• Installation of LV Cabling (Twin & Earth, Singles, SWA Cabling etc).
• Installation of ELV Cabling (Data, IRS, Fire Alarm etc).
• Termination of accessories and services (Light fittings, wiring accessories, consumer units etc).
• Termination of ELV services (Data, IRS, Fire Alarm etc).
• The ability to understand specialist systems/services such as Access Control, Door Entry, CCTV, Fire Alarm, AOV/Smoke Ventilation, Solar/PV etc.
• Understanding of Electrical Test Equipment and how to use.
• Understanding of EV Charging.
• Electrical Fault Finding.
• Work independently or as part of a team on commercial, industrial, or domestic projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
• Follow all site safety protocols and company policies.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (preferred).
• ECS/CSCS Card (preferred).
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (preferred).
• ECS/CSCS Card (preferred).
