Description

This role supports our Battersea Power Station Team across all phases.

This is a mobile role providing seamless service in covering annual leave, appointments, and absences at the Estate. To provide a welcoming reception environment and Five-star hotel style visitor journey to all who attend.

With this being a designated Elite role, we do require you to be fully flexible, you will be working within our mobile team and could be based at any desk within the Battersea Portfolio.

Our Elite Team really form the backbone of our business and allow us to provide a totally seamless service to our clients.  The role would provide a totally diverse array of front of house functions and responsibilities depending on what desk you covered on that particular day, and so will really keep you on your toes. 

Duties

To provide a seamless service to all internal and external clients

Training on all Concierge desks and Post Room at the Battersea Power Station and moving from one to the other dependant on Operational requirements

You would attend the site everyday as per your day or night schedule, and support the operation when cover is not required

To greet all visitors promptly, efficiently complete all related

Security procedures in a timely manner and offering all appropriate services to ensure a smooth execution of the visitor journey

Escorting guests to appropriate lift lobby’s, lounges and meeting rooms when requested

Switchboard operation

Booking and creating parcels for couriers

To receive, organise and deliver post to internal staff members

Sound knowledge of all Health and Safety areas at each site in portfolio

Maintain standards of housekeeping in the public spaces of the buildings where required and carry out documented checks to ensure consistency of standards in these areas.

Work on a shift rotation that ensures all shifts are covered.  Work with other team members to ensure all annual leave is covered.

Build strong relationships with the Estate Management teams and other Service Providers.

Lead by example and encourage a one team approach from all Service Partners.

Be the face and welcome of the properties to all residents, guests, contractors and other visitors on site.

Report any faulty equipment to the relevant person.  Report faults in a timely manner resulting in zero disruption to service delivery.

Adhere to all security and building processes and protocols.  Report any failures to follow processes and protocols to the relevant person for site.

Manage Residents keys, ensuring strict processes are followed when handing out and auditing keys.

Take time to build rapport with residents to enhance the personalised service

To be responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of the reception areas and lounges

Dealing with enquiries both over the phone, face to face and via email

Dealing with reservations – modifying and managing cancellations

Checking visitors and guests in and out

Managing cloakroom – checks, events and storage

Ad-hoc administration tasks

Dealing with faxes and post

Dealing with any lost property enquiries

Dealing with any taxi bookings for visitors and guests

Ability to manage this reception desk alone and really take ownership of the front of house service as this is what we call a “single site”

Liaising closely with the concierge team here at Office Concierge

Being the first port of call to anyone that is walking in and out of the building

Assisting any contractors or builders that are doing maintenance within the buildings

Managing a busy switchboard at relevant sites

The reception has both busy and quiet periods and therefore requires someone who can remain self-motivated on their own yet also work well under pressure

Someone who is extremely comfortable working in a luxury residential environment and used to dealing with high-net-worth individuals.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed

There will be a lot of residential processes to manage for the building.
