Duties

Prepare and develop briefs, by collating relevant information as briefed by the Senior Technical Manager.
Manage multiple sites, procuring design team and third-party consultants for producing tender package.
Manage external design consultants to produce detailed tender design package from approved planning drawings.
Manage consultants to prepare design information that is compliant with Building Regulation & Building warranty provider.
Brief specialist consultants to produce site specific advice and information (e.g., soils and contamination investigation, archaeological, etc.)
Understand the procurement schedule and track consultants progress to ensure their timeline matches the procurement timeline
Produce the RIBA Stage 3b tender package with knowing the requirement of HFL Housing Design Guide, Sustainability, Secure by Design etc.
Chairing design meetings and other meetings as necessary.
Oversee the design process and approval submitted by the main contractor at RIBA Stage 4-6.
Respond to main contractor RFI, Change of Request and TechSubs.
Review, comment on design information provided by the main contractor.
Work with the Senior Technical Manager to shape strategy and implement strategic intentions of the HfL board of building affordable homes for Lambeth residents.

Experience worked in technical department as technical coordinator or senior technical coordinator for main contractor, housing development sector or public sector.
Ensure close working relationships with other regeneration partners, social enterprises, and contractors to meet the aims of HfL.
Excellent attention to detail.
Degree Educated in relevant disciplines such as Architecture, Design, Planning, Civil Engineering or the Built Enviroment
