Position Title: Family Engagement Worker
Location: LEAP - (Currently virtual/work from home) The post holder may start the position while NCB is working remotely due to Covid-19, therefore all candidates must be able to work at home temporarily
Status: Fixed Term - 1 Year (Part time, 3 days a week)
Salary: (£16,398 pro-rated) FTE is £27,331 per annum
For over 50 years the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has been building a better childhood for all.
The Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) works closely with families and communities across 4 Lambeth wards including Stockwell, Coldharbour, Vassall and Tulse Hill; in order to positively impact and better the life chances of young children and babies aged 0-3 years.
Taking a child centred approach, the Family Engagement Worker will help LEAP to maximise and enrich reach (both virtually and physically) with the Tulse Hill community. Operating across all areas of the Tulse Hill Ward, the Family Engagement Worker will be responsible for building rich relationships and connecting a range of stakeholders, including families with children 0-3 and organisations within Tulse Hill, by developing, sharing and promoting LEAP best practice and values.
The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, an excellent communicator and passionate about improving the lives of others.
