JOB SUMMARY
Vertus are looking to recruit a Flushing Operative to join our Facilities Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities, you will ensure that Residents (tenants) have the best rental experience and consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service, becoming a Vertus brand ambassador.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Flushing in accordance with HSG 274.
• Follow the correct procedures for setting up and flushing closed Low Temperature Hot Water and Domestic Cold Water Boosted system to BSRIA guidelines.
• Ensure sinks, showers and baths are left clean after flushing is carried out.
• Compile correct computer-generated test sheets and engineers’ reports using our master templates.
• To complete all tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
• To maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the floors.
• To be thoroughly familiar and comply with the Company's "Health & Safety" policy and procedures and to immediately report any hazards or infringements to the HOF.
• To complete all associated paperwork on a daily basis in accordance with company procedures.
• To support with resident moves/refurbishments and general reconfigurations.
• To ensure that all residential support facilities are operational and of a high standard.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the HOF.
1. The applicant must show a degree of manual dexterity and be able to follow basic technical instructions. Good communication skills are required in order to liaise effectively with tenants and other members of the Maintenance Team.
2. The duties may include some form of heavy lifting and strenuous physical activity. Therefore, the incumbent must have the ability to undertake such duties.
3. The applicant must be self-motivated, approachable and demonstrate willingness to assist others.
4. The applicant must be of smart appearance and bearing and punctual.
5. The incumbent must have an appreciation of the importance of customer service and how this is applied in the context of Canary Wharf.
