Duties

Working as a Slinger Signaller on lifting operations across the site Directing crane and plant movements safely using approved hand signals and radio communication Attaching, securing and releasing loads in accordance with lifting plans and site procedures Checking lifting accessories before use and reporting any defects Working closely with Crane Supervisors, plant operators and site management Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations Assisting with general lifting and site duties where required Following all site health and safety procedures Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card is essential

Essential criteria

Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card Previous experience working as a Slinger Signaller on construction sites Good understanding of lifting operations and safe systems of work Experience using hand signals and radio communication Ability to work safely around cranes, plant and lifting equipment Good communication skills and ability to follow lifting plans and site instructions Ability to provide 2 recent working references

Required qualifications

CPCS A40 Slinger

Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card is essential
