Bank workers or Volunteers Come and join us! Due to the current Covid-19 crisis South West London & St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust are looking to quickly train and employ peer support workers to be of support to front line ward staff.
With the pressures of the Covid-19 and isolation periods additional support is required to ensure the service users needs are well cared for.
This is an excellent opportunity to come and work and gain experience in some of our different services at the Trust.
We have various opportunities in different clinical roles available to work flexible shifts across our Trust, such as:
•Healthcare Assistant / Facilitator
•Mental Health Nurse
•Community Nurse
•Psychologist
•Therapies
We also have opportunities for peer support workers to be based in inpatient wards across the Trust (Springfield, Tolworth or Queen Mary’s Hospitals) to act as support worker to assist the current clinical staff already working on site.
New to the NHS or Health services? Even if you are a school leaver and you are thinking about getting into Health and wanting to provide care on a basic level, then this is a brilliant opportunity for you to do so. About the roles: You can either join us as volunteer or as a bank worker.
If you prefer signing up as a bank worker, you will need to sign up onto the Trust staff bank and working with us on a temporary contract.
