JOB TITLE: Security and Cleaning Team Leader

REPORTING TO: Deputy Soft Service Manager

LOCATION: The Sidings, Waterloo

CONTRACT: Full time permanent

HOURS: 42 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off Night and Days on Rotation

PAY RATE: £14.31 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is looking for a hardworking and proactive Team Leader to join our team.  Your duties will involve supervising the Cleaning / Security operatives. You will be responsible to maintain, monitoring and controlling the cleaning and security operatives within Sidings. You will also be required to Supervisor the team on shift and make sure they are carrying out the tasks to a high standard and directing them to reactive issues as they present themselves.

Duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   

·       Supervising a team of cleaners and Security officers

·       Monitoring and controlling of operatives to ensure completion to a high standard.   

·       Completing paperwork   

·       Communicating with Line Manager   

·       Training of staff   

·       Conducting Team briefings   

·       Accountable for your team   

·       Health & Safety    

Essential criteria

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced team with the ability to remain calm under pressure.    

·       Outstanding Communication skills both internal and external   

·       The Ability to effectively prioritise your workload and build relationships.    

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       A customer-focused approach   

·       A proactive/can-do attitude to work

·       The ability to work on own initiative and take full responsibility for the role    

·       The ability to follow processes/instructions.    

Requirements

  • SIA DS licence essential. CCTV desirable.
  • · A full five-year checkable employment / education history.
  • · Experience in corporate / retail security is desirable.
