Description

Our mission is to provide transformative, high-quality digital education, so students can learn, wherever they are.

We collaborate with academics and professional services staff across the university, and with our external partners, to design, develop and deliver a wide range of educational programmes.

Our learners study with us from across the world, choosing when and where they study, working around their schedules. We are a dynamic team with ambitious growth targets in a priority area of development for King’s.

Duties

The purpose of the role is to support the team on numerous and varied tasks. You will be responsible for the quality assurance of the content we produce, as well as providing insight on workflows and procedures, flagging issues where necessary.

You will focus on achieving and maintaining accuracy, consistency and quality in everything we produce. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who can work unsupervised and with a mindset about constantly improving what we are doing.

This is an excellent entry level position for anyone looking for a career in e-learning. The role is primarily based at King’s Waterloo Campus, though you may be required to travel to other campuses on occasion.

  1. Ability to work proactively and without supervision, following managerial direction.

  1. Ability to work collaboratively and form good working relationships with academic and professional services staff at all levels.

  1. Confident and competent IT skills (Microsoft 365, project management tools, Virtual Learning Environments tools or similar) with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.

  1. Ability to work under pressure, balance competing priorities and meeting deadlines

Desirable criteria

  1. Experience of distance learning or other technology-enhanced learning.

  1. Experience of working in the Higher Education sector.
