We are pleased to confirm we are currently recruiting for a new Plasterer/Multi-Silled operative to join our Fortem team at our Lambeth branch. The successful candidate will be required to work across the Lambeth Borough and in the South London areas.

The role involves carrying out all aspects of plastering, large ceiling and wall areas, external rendering and experience of damp works to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. As a multi-skilled trades person you should also be able to carry out other multi-skilled works to enable you to complete the whole job rather than just your core trade. This will include tiling, basic plumbing; taps, waste and basic carpentry. We are looking for a candidate to ensure all follow-on works have been captured, leaving the resident assured. 

Duties

You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of void maintenance/renewals to properties.

Essential criteria

Full UK driving license
Certificate in Plastering or NVQ 2 in Plastering or the equivalent

Desirable Qualifications
CSCS H&S Operative Test
Certificate + CSCS Blue Card
Responsive repairs experience
