The role will involve:
Laying and installing drainage and utility pipework to line and level
Working with clay, concrete, plastic and ducting systems
Preparing trenches and pipe beds before installation
Connecting pipes, fittings, chambers and manholes
Reading and working from site drawings and levels
Checking falls, gradients and alignment
Assisting with backfilling and reinstatement works
Working closely with Groundworkers, Machine Drivers and site management
Following all site health and safety procedures
To be considered, you will need:
Valid CSCS card
Previous experience working as a Pipelayer
Experience laying drainage and utility pipework
Ability to work accurately to line, level and fall
Experience working with trenches, pipe beds, chambers and manholes
Ability to read basic site drawings and follow levels
Good understanding of site health and safety
Ability to work as part of a groundworks team
Ability to provide 2 recent working references
