The Food and Beverage Team Member Apprentice delivers excellent customer service by assisting guests, managing dining areas, and supporting front-of-house operations. This role develops skills in hospitality, teamwork, and communication within a customer-facing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests, offering menus and answering basic queries
• Take and relay food and drink orders accurately to kitchen and bar teams
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of dining and service areas
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables efficiently during service
• Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors about shortages or issues
• Participate actively in training sessions and demonstrate learned skills on the job

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Customer satisfaction ratings from feedback forms and mystery shoppers (target: >90% positive)
  • Order accuracy rate (target: >98% orders fulfilled correctly and promptly)
  • Timeliness of table service during peak hours (target: orders served within 10 minutes)
  • Attendance and completion of off-the-job training modules (target: 100%)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in line with brand standards (target: zero hygiene breaches)
  • You must be a resident of Lambeth

   

The successful candidate must be a Lambeth Resident.

The apprenticeship is for a minimum of 12 months.

Hours: minimum of 30 hours per week
