Painter and decorators are a trades people who applies paints, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes and special coatings to the walls, ceilings and other surfaces of residential, commercial and industrial buildings and structures.

The work of a painter and decorator has both a practical and a decorative function, since painting surfaces not only protects them from weather damage, erosion, mould and rust, but also makes them look more attractive. 

We are currently looking for a Painter & Decorating Labourer to work on our site in Lambeth. 

If you are successful there is scope for you to be trained and learn the trade. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assisting the painters and decorators on site
  
• Cleaning and preparing construction site
  
• Following Instructions from Supervisors and implementing construction plans
   
  

• All operatives will require a valid CSCS card,
  
• Asbestos awareness certification & ideally a UTR
  
• All applicants must have their own protective clothing & footwear all other PPE will be provided
  
• Be enthusiastic
  
• Work well in a team
