Artisan People has a number of clients in the Museum and Gallery and Arts and Heritage industry who call on us for casual staff in a number of roles, such as Hosting, Gallery Assistants, Cloakroom, Retail, Ticketing and Membership.
If you have a background in working in customer service positions, museums, galleries or hospitality and are flexible and keen for daytime, evening or weekend work during this seasonal period, please send us your CV, cover letter and your availability.
We are looking for people who are flexible and keen to pick up work and experience across the above mentioned sectors. Once you are registered with us, we’ll keep you in mind for ongoing regular work with clients as there are some fantastic opportunities out there!
• Customer Service experience within a similar sector – this could include retail, heritage, hospitality, event work, bar work etc.
• Excellent spoken English and communication skills, fluency in a second language also beneficial
• Excellent presentation, punctuality and reliability
• Vigilance within surroundings and awareness of security issues
• Alertness for quick response to emergency situations and evacuations
• Positive and proactive approach
• Good varied availability
• Passion for the Arts and Heritage Industry
• Experience in Ticketing, Membership or Retail is beneficial
• DBS clearance and certificate also beneficial
