Your principal role will be a trainee design technician producing primarily transport and highways engineering design drawings to support planning applications and detailed design submissions.
To be successful in this role you will have an interest in Transport Planning, using Computer Aided Design to solve problems, health and safety and the environment.
You will be able to follow processes and procedures whilst remaining inquisitive and keen to learn, happy to ask questions to ensure your understanding and develop your knowledge. Your approach to your studies or work is thorough, ensuring a high quality and accurate output. You will have managed your workload and time, planning effectively to meet study or work deadlines. You are able to work in a team, listening and communicating clearly.

Experience of AutoCAD would be advantageous, as would relevant work experience.
