Duties

The Quality Compliance Manager owns relationships with build, customer service and estate teams by managing the process of Residential units and Communal Areas final inspections from the point of M&E commissioning to End User handover (Customer / Managing Agent) and beyond. About the role: The Quality Compliance Manager takes ownership of the implementation of and full compliance with the Berkeley St Edward QMS and the Group BQA Standards on all live projects from the point of M&E commissioning to the final handover of Residential units (Apartment and Houses) and Communal Areas of all multi-occupancy buildings including commercial spaces. Engaging directly with the Construction team, addresses issues before they manifest themselves as defects and identifies outstanding works and snags yet to be rectified, ensuring all works are completed on time and to the highest quality, ready for CS and Estate handover. Engaging directly with CS and Estate them and ensures that all inspections and handover documentation are recorded as required and all issues are closed on time and prior to end user handover.

Essential criteria

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of Build to Customer Service / Estates Handover process • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of Customer Service / Estates to End User Handover process • Ensure that all CS and Estate inspection reports are adequately detailed and accurate • Ensure, Plot and communal areas acceptance, commissioning, meter reading and end user handover are digitally recorded and all records are compiled prior end user handover • Ensure Pre-occupation reviews are completed and stored for all residential buildings • Ensure Pre-occupation FRAs for each handed over building are closed out in a timely manner with all issues addressed being digitally recorded • Directly liaise with CS and Estate and ensure all QA records are collated and stored as defined in the BSE QMS • Ensure full compliance with the relevant requirements in the BSE QMS and Group BQA Standards • Coach and mentor individuals to create sustainable knowledge and skills for Berkeley St Edward quality management system implementation • Monitor and report on the compliance with the Berkley St Edward quality Management System • Assist with preparation of the Project QA Dashboards and other reports as required • Manage and report on BQA training attendance across division • Embrace any changes that are introduced to improve the overall quality for the business • Maintain files/logs/databases up to date • Attend relevant meetings and follow up with actions • Assist with monthly reporting on implementation and compliance achieved • Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as and when required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: • Experience in internal auditing and reporting • Well organised, able to make things happen, with meticulous attention to detail • Ability to multitask and work under pressure • Proficient in use of MS Office packages – Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Proficient in use of Asite, FieldView and SharePoint online • Happy to take the initiative, responsibility and ownership, Excellent people skills – diplomacy, empathy, strong listening skills, calm nature, sense of ownership, sense of urgency, resilience, tenacity • Good team player, credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders.
