Duties

The role will involve:
  • Carrying out a wide range of general construction and maintenance tasks across RC frame and groundwork projects
  • Completing temporary works, protection works and minor carpentry tasks
  • Moving, distributing and storing materials around site safely and efficiently
  • Operating hand and power tools safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions
  • Assisting with general site setup and maintenance
  • Working closely with site management and other trades
  • Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential criteria

To be considered, you will need:
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Previous experience working as a Handyperson on construction sites
  • Previous RC frame and groundwork experience
  • Experience with temporary works, protection works and minor carpentry
  • Competence using hand and power tools
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Ability to provide 2 recent working referenes

Required qualifications

  • Valid CSCS card
