The CIL/S106 team is part of the larger Operations and Innovations (O&I) team which sits under the Economy, Culture and Skills division within Lambeth's Sustainable Growth and Opportunity (SGO) directorate. The team is responsible to ensure that developers comply with the CIL Regulations and S106 agreements that are attached to their planning permissions.
You will be working towards achieving the Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship standard, mainly as a member of the CIL/S106 team to investigate and assess level of compliance in respect of the developers’ planning obligations; to provide business support to the administration of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and the monitoring of Section 106 (S106) agreements by applying legislation surrounding CIL and S106; the allocation and expenditure of CIL and S106 resources which are a key contributor to delivery of the Council’s Borough Plan objectives for sustainable growth and opportunity in Lambeth.
