Duties

  • Assist qualified plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Carry and organise tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
  • Support pipe fitting, drainage, and water system installations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers

Essential criteria

  • Strong interest in plumbing or construction trades
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
  • Basic maths and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), preferably including Maths and English
