Key Responsibilities

• Assist experienced carpenters with general carpentry and joinery work.
• Learn to read and interpret basic drawings, plans and measurements.
• Assist with measuring, cutting and fitting timber and other materials.
• Learn to use hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely.
• Assist with first-fix and second-fix carpentry.
• Help with the installation of doors, frames, skirting, architraves and other woodwork.
• Assist with roofing, flooring, studwork and other construction tasks as required.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Attend college/training as required as part of the apprenticeship.
• Work as part of a team and take direction from experienced tradespeople.
• Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the role.
